For triple buffering you need DirectFB =3D 0.9.18 an= d mplayer from main cvs branch. AFAIK 1.0-pre stuff should be based on the main branch. Im also using the mgavid-module cause this gives me flawless, skipless video output on my lcd with most types divx and alterations.=20 You can use DirectFB for this too so you don't necessarily need mgavid.vo directfb or -vo dfbmga:nocrtc2:bes should provide the same functionality. The triple buffering stuff applies here too. Mgavid uses triple buffering. What will happen to Ville Syrj=E4l=E4's patches in upcoming kernels?
Im really eager to try out features in the 2.5 and 2.6 brand of the linux-kernel. I can't find any updated patchsets for those kernels. To clear things up those patches aren't originally by me. I have added second head stuff and other stuff to them though. Anyway 2.4.22 should include vsync support out of the box. The full-memor= y patch has some issues regarding console acceleration and hw cursor so it won't go in. and i think that support for a close to obsolete brand of cards (g200/400/550andallthose) lay mainly in video-output (since the weak support of opengl in the current drivers (and in the cards themselves)) FWIW I've fixed a lot of bugs and added new features to the mga DRI drivers lately.
But still the cards are slow and since Matrox don't want to release full specs or produce better WARP microcode there's very little anyone can do to add some missing features. The cards could probably do quite a bit more with more flexible microcode.=20 Ville Syrj=E4l=E4 syrjala@. You might want to try the software scaler -vf scale. For the description how to specify its parameters, please refer to the man page. I don't think you can scale the image in -vo x11 with hardware scaling, therefore the software scaler appears to be the only option. But if you have the time to put more work into it, you might be able to get the other video devices (mga, fbdev.) working Ivan - On Wed, 3 Sep 2003, Otto Waltari wrote: Hello everyone.

Matrox Mga G200
At first, let me tell you how I started from totally zero and went to making fifteen thousands monthly. I will tell you exactly how I did it. I did 2 simple steps: I used Rave Traffic software to submit the site to search engines. I discovered MSadvertiser and used it to pull much bigger profits. Rave Traffic search engine software was custom programmed by one of the famous European programmer Artom Storojev. The beauty of this software consists in speeding up submission results.
It works 30 - 70 percent faster than 99% of other search engine submission software. This means you will have a flood of traffic fast!
I highly encourage you to download a copy of it for absolutely free - it is yours forever. MSadvertiser is my second software I used to generate huge amount of traffic. I call it traffic bomb! Once you have it set up - it simply converts any website into cash dispenser.
The real beauty of it - instant results! I really mean instant - results you see in less than 24 hours. How is that possible?

Mgavid uses the first card (for compatibility). Fix a possible error when mmap is called before the card is configured by a ioctl. I tested this patch with and without devfs and it seems to work.
Due the lack of hardware i couldn't test the multi device support itself.
